The refurbishment of the 1970’s Parsons Tower on Newcastle College’s Rye Hill Campus is now complete.
The newly transformed building stands as a new physical beacon and presents a completely new ‘face’ on the city skyline.
This project has rejuvenated the old tower, and further advertises the ambition of the College to create exciting and stimulating learning environments to reflect 21st Century teaching.
The existing structure was retained, but the remainder of the building fabric and services were stripped and replaced with state of the art materials and systems to create what is inherently a new building.
The College are currently undertaking the final fit out to enable the building to be fully operational in September of this year.
